Simple Measures to Protect Your Personal Binance Account

Set a Strong Password and Change It Regularly

  1. Create a long and complex password for your account, incorporating uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

  2. Use a password manager to save and manage your passwords, and regularly update them, especially the email password associated with your Binance account.

  3. The website "Have I Been Pwned" is a very useful tool to check if your personal account has ever been compromised in a data breach.

Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

  1. Activate two-factor authentication (2FA) immediately, and it is recommended to use Google Authenticator. Record the reset key so you can continue using 2FA codes on a new device. Click -> Set Up 2FA

Prevent Phishing

  1. Access the Binance website through saved bookmarks instead of typing the address manually. Enable the anti-phishing code feature to verify the authenticity of notification emails. For more information, refer to Anti-Phishing Code.

Check All Devices with Account Access

  1. Regularly check and remove devices that you no longer use and ensure the security of your email account.

  2. Review the account activity log to check login IP addresses and times, and disable the account immediately if you notice any suspicious activity.

Manage Withdrawal Addresses

  1. Use the address management feature to set wallet addresses white list that can withdraw funds.

By following these five simple measures, users can significantly enhance the security of their personal Binance accounts. Ensure your account's safety for a more secure trading experience.
